Ladies’ Aid

The Ladies’ Aid Society first began in 1925 with approximately 30 women in attendance.  Today, there are still over 20 members in the group who meet every other Wednesday, from 2pm to 3pm, in the lower level of the Multi-Purpose Centre.

The aim of the Ladies’ Aid Society is to enjoy a time of prayer and fellowship with one another, and to help those in need, here in Bermuda as well as abroad, through their support of foreign missionaries.  The ladies spend the hour singing songs and also sharing prayer requests.  Each person is assigned a prayer partner, for whom they pray throughout the year.  From time to time, there are guest speakers and member’s birthdays are celebrated with cake and refreshments, as they occur.

An invitation to attend any of the meetings is extended to all ladies of the congregation.
